i have a 1999 honda accord it 3.0 v6 automatic coupe ex and am replacing the transmission and need to know
witch transmission fit like does a v4 2.3 transmission fit or does it even matter what it is like can i get a
transmission that a 2001 that 3.0 v6 from a 4 door accord fit in my 1999 2 door honda accord need help thank you

Wait!!! A 4 cylinder transmission will NOT work on the V-6. They use different transmission. Also, the V-6 transmission is, as you just found out, not as durable as you could wish for. The 4 cylinder one would disintegrate in no time, since it is even more light duty. The 2001 V-6 transmission is likely to fit, but depending on the mileage and maintenance history of it, you may be looking at replacing that soon, too. Better bet is to have a good rebuild done on yours and get the best warranty you can. The transmission is a noted weak point in the V-6 Hondas.
