The speedometer and tach in my 2000 Honda Accord just stopped working. Is this s speed sensor issue or first? Thanks

I don't know if this will help you but the speedometer needle was stuck on the other side of the pin that it rests on....quite a wierd thing that happened and I don't know how it did...but that was my issue....you could hardly tell that it was on the opposite side of the pin.

The same thing has happened to my 2001 Honda Accord EX. The needles are both on the wrong side of the pin also. Anyone know what has caused this? I left the dome lite on which killed the battery. After charging and getting the car out of the garage for a ride I noticed the the needles were messed up. everything else works. Cruise, lites.
