Automatic transmission rebuild, Stuck shaft bolt!

You ca: 1 - Try a 3/4" breaker bar and socket with a 4 foot long pipe over the handle of the breaker bar for leverage, or 2 - Use a torch (oxy- acetylene) to heat the nut/shaft end until bright orange, then hit it with WD40 or PB and them try a standard 1/2 or 3/4" breaker bar with or with out the pipe for added leverage.

JP1956 the oxy-acetylene is a way bit too much heat .Get a 14 oz can of MAP Gas it comes in the yellow can. Map gas burns hotter than propane but not as hot as oxy-acetylene.Getting the nut so hot that it's bright orange could damage the threads. The use of heat is to make the nut expand but remain strong. It also makes any thread locker let go. What is holding the shaft from turning? You may just need to shock the nut by using a boxed end wrench and a Very large hammer.

Those three nuts have me confused as well . I just pulled the same type trans out of a 99 accord 3.0 . Was able to get one nut off but the other two are not coming off yet. After a closer look at them the two that are still on have arrows stamped on them in a counter clockwise rotation. I am thinking the other two are reverse threads since the first one came off not stamped with any arrow. They dont stamp them unless there is a reason. So i stopped til i find out for sure.

dude, those 2 nuts are reverse threaded so act like youre tightening them to remove it, only 1 of the 3 nuts is a normal thread, DOOD did you not even read anything or watch any videos, doooo00000ddd
