Flashing D is a warning that something is not right with the transmission, if in fact there is now fluid in the transmission and you are running the engine then transmission failure has most likely already happened, check the fluid level and color, if it’s full and bright red then it maybe a solenoid problem but if the fluid is dark and smells burnt then it toast.
