Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I sat down with a sales lady for a 1997 TJ. She asked my plans for purchasing
the TJ, I said that I already been pre-approved. She stated "good, we could
not do that". Has anyone else heard of a dealer who is unable to finance older
vehicles?

Yes, I tried to finance a Cherry '99 Tahoe and I could not get a loan from my bank of 30 years and my credit union I had even longer. I have a great credit history but no one wants to finance an older vehicle.
