The battery died on our 2005 Nissan Elgrand E51, we tried to jump start it, the alarm came on but the battery wouldn't turn over & the the ignition won't turn. Does anyone know why?

Pressed route button by accident and i dont know how to exit the map screen/turn it off everytime I start the car up it keep coming on and tried pressing the back button but that doesnt work
