Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hello,
This morning I drained all the old radiator coolant and poured in distilled
water so I can flush everything out with the heater on full blast. I went to start
the engine and it will NOT start, It's making(best I can describe it a loud
machine gun sound) and the ABS light is on. I have done this before over
the years and never had a problem. I need help. Any ideas? I have no near
me that I know to help out.

Go back over what u did and where u did it. I suspect u got moisture on parts or disconnected something.
Mikbek: I did go over everything and looks good. I have no idea.. F_O_R: I will try that if possible
Have someone crank engine. Try to discern where noise is coming from, than very carefully put a long pipe or screwdriver where u suspect noise is and put other end by ur ear. See if u can isolate noise. DONT touch wires or moving parts. I suspect starter area.
Clicking of starter does usually indicate weak battery or bad connections
It was a low battery. Bought a new one and good to go to finish what I am doing.
