1992 cherokee speedometer not working

Bad cable,or speed gear.
Speed sensor on tranny.
i change the speed sensor and is not working
do you know if the is a reley
Was it the whole assembly with gear or just the sensor itself?
There is no relay for this.
Ok. you know where you put sensor,there is a plastic cog that may be bad ,that sensor hook,s into it,it slides in the tranny.
Yes check wire,s for sure may be just unhooked.

Well if it,s good check for bad wire,s from there to dash.
check the dash as well but looks ok
Do other guage,s work gas,temp?
If you don,t find bad wire,i would think it may be in the dash, How many mile,s on jeep>?
Yep,if you can,t find anything ive, said,you may have to look for you a used speed cluster.

just recently put in new but used instrument cluster on my jeep xj and speedometer still not working. also replaced the distance sensor on the end of the tranny and no success. the speedo is electronic, could there be a bad ground maybe?
Does anyone know what the problem is? I tried everything

My Speedometer Doesnt work ethier i have 1992 Jeep Cherokee 4 door and Dont know what to do.Nothing Works Except Turn Signals not even my miles work.Anyone have any ideas
