That's the old truck death wobble. It happens to many older trucks with the solid front axle. Everything wears old and it gets loose. My 1979 Jeep had it sometimes when I ran over RR tracks. My daughters Jeep had most of the front end components replaced trying to chase it down. Maybe this site will help - http://www.kevinsoffroad.com/how-to-fix-your-own-death-wobble/

radial belt in a tire may have shifted also

This is TERRIFYING!...the steering wheel forcibly snatched from your hands (hope you don't have a finger in there) and your only recourse is to go for the brakes....but quick~ the lovely AMC Gremlin would do this when we crossed railroad tracks....very un-nerving.

its not a death wobble Because even if i go on the interstate it will happen when i go 40-50 then when i get to 60 it will go away and ride smooth.

track bar loose or steering stablizer shock bad/weak. have someone rock the steering wheel while you watch the balljoint end of trackbar. should be tight. if ok, pull bolt from stab. shock at axle and see how strong the shock is. there should be no play in it. if so replace. these are to most frequent problems. hope this helps....
