Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Opel Corsa C 1.4-2004 model (South Africa)
starts only for 3 seconds and cuts off. The engine
was recently redone with new vavles fitted and a
new crank sensor fitted after it had mixed oil and
water. When starting the car it does crank and
starts but will soon die down after running for
about 5 seconds. Another thing that i noticed is
that on the second and subsequent attempts to
start it it fails completely but if left for about 30
minutes it will start but only run for about 5
seconds and then cut off again. I have put in a new
crank sensor and reset the it but still to no avail. I
have checked the fuel pressure it seems to be fine
but i noticed that the plugs are also wet from the
petrol. What could be the problem? Any advice will
be of greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

Check crank pulley keyway also timing to still be correct, also see if the engine light is flashing on and off or not. 0740784593
