Hi there I have an Opel Gamma 2005 1.4 recently started
losing power on incline and now will not even take off on
incline. Car overheats, has an oil leak which appears to be
coming from the tapered cover. Thermostat isn't working
so fan automatically turns on as soon as ignition is turned
on. Manifold has a few missing bolts and the car does
need to be serviced. Looking for advice on what could be
causing the car to lose power and overheat. Will be
changing spark plugs to see if it makes any difference and
hoping that its only the spark plugs. Car sometimes
randomly switches off when stopping however drives fine if
doing high speed. Central locking stopped working recently
as well not sure why..

Hi there thank you for your answer I changed the crank and spark plugs but now an error code P0230 showed up and the mechanic says that the computer box is the problem and needs to be changed a 16-2 16MINUS2 is needed. What should I do?

I just bought the car recently it ran fine for 3 months but now its giving so much of trouble. Now I feel the previous owner robbed me point blank. I'm currently waiting for the previous owner to bring a computer box to test and see if that really is the problem. Some people are saying that the mechanic who changed the crank pulley didnt do it properly so now I'm just spending and spending but no luck. Praying that it works with another computer box
