I'm about to buy a 2017 CRV touring. At negotiation, how can I be sure I don't over spend and leave too much money on the table.

just use a search engine to compare all 2017 CRV's within a 25 mile radius, find the least expensive one with the same or similar options, and use that as your bargaining chip. "Joe motors has the same CR- v $500 less, will you beat their price to earn my business?" Sounds like a win-win for you

on a car that new, you can easily pit dealers against each other. Its a bit of a hassle but your wallet will be happy
