A straight 6 cylinder engine is "good" the only thing better is a straight 8 cylinder! read about crankshaft oscillation, vibrations etc the inherent design makes them produce torque, because of the bore stroke relationship. The only reason there are no straight 8 engines in 2016 is the length packaging issue, somewhat true of the straight 6 also manufactures can not afford to produce more than 1 to 2 engines per vehicle in 2016 There is no MONEY for them to do so! Straight 6 is the best engine for any Jeep. I would suggest using amsoil for best results and longer engine life.
