where do I drill hole on hump in a 72 elcamino that is being converted from column shift to console shift using a horseshoe shifter and console please//

also would appreciate measurements of where to drill holes in hump to mount
the horseshoe shifter and console as well, would be much appreciated

Is the hump center section removable? If so install the shifter and then take measurements to locate where the hole should be.

Would u believe last time I did that was on a 1970 Ford in 1981! I just got under figured bout where it would come out approximately, drilled pilot holes, went from there trimming as needed and covered over with boot.. Came out nice!
