El Camino Alarm system

Asked by Alva Sep 19, 2021 at 09:52 PM about the 1973 Chevrolet El Camino Base

Question type: General

I'm restoring and customizing my 1973 El Camino 454 SS.
It's starting to get noticed and it's getting me worried. I
already had one stolen from me before and hate to put all
this sweat and hard work into it for some snuck to just
take it. What Alarm system should I use? It's not garaged
so I need something that works other than a 9mm. LoL
any suggestions?

One comment. Your car will be far more valuable restored to stock if it is a real SS454. That hole in the hood makes me cringe.

Don't mess with an alarm - disable the car. A small thing like removing a part or separating a connector will deter most thefts.
