Head gasket

How do you when your head gasket blew. Because my eco sport heath gauge
came on twice and there reservoir was boiling i place coolant and hen i stop the
reservoir was on minimum. The car  did smoke and it doesn't want to start.

A compression test is one way. A test for combustion products in the coolant is another way.
