2018 Honda Odyssey Misfiring

Asked by Guru9S1YZF Oct 06, 2021 at 11:38 PM about the 2018 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2018 Honda Odyssey is misfiring. But there is no code.  Anyone else having
the same problem?  Honda says my van is fine because the computer doesn't
have a code. But I have the problem everyday.  I am at 48,000 miles.

Is the check engine light flashing? If so, drive to your repair facility and don't shut off the engine! Sometimes a misfire code will not be stored right away. But if you don't shut off the engine a code will be in the computer until you shut off the engine. I had the same problem with my 03 S10 Pick Up. I finally was able to catch it in the way I described. Hope that helps! Jim

I am having a problem with my 2016 Odyssey. Finding out this happens all the time for years. The older models had a service bulletin which extended the warranty for this issue
