I have a 1971 C10 Chevy pickup. It doesn't have the original motor in it. It is a 350 motor. I'm trying to find the year of the motor. Are there numbers I should look for on the block?

with a little more searching you'll find more info , U toob has many videos on a variety of vehicles , there are of course #'s on it , look towards the back on the side , you can do almost anything with that

it 's possible to run the VIN. The motor information might be in that number.

The numbers on the back of the block behind the distributor will tell you the year of that block.
