Can't afford air shocks

Asked by divaandalady Jun 01, 2018 at 11:47 AM about the 2006 Cadillac SRX V6 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Cadillac needs rear shocks on both sides and I found out that I have to buy the air shocks which are super expensive. No one has the part used, neither ebay or amazon sells the parts so not sure what to do. Can I replace these with gas shocks which are more affordable?

Well I was told that the shocks are leaking and have had two different mechanics look at them and they both said I needed to replace them because the height level has went down.
