throttle positioning sensor(p0122) keeps throwing my check engine light.....car not running bad?????? already had to replace wiring harness $$$$$$$$, bought truck used in aug 2007....why so many issues??????? gas mileage is horrible, also.....

you need to replace the sensor, sorry about the bad news.

Yes, hard to say why you are having so many issues, perhaps you just got a bad one. Are you sure the sensor is the code? have you gone down through the steps to eliminate other possibilities?

Did you change the throttle positioning sensor, If yes tell me if the check engine ligth went off and how much it cost the parts? thank you

just a note-I bought this car in Jan '08 with 44k miles. 2 days later the check engine light came on and the TP sensor had to be replaced.

Hi all, my 2005 albarely got this issue, itls it worth replacing such sensor??mileage is 149,000

a 2004 kia sorento just stalling in the middle of the road wait two hour it will crank and run and drive fine
