Engine light is on

The check engine light means there is a fault code stored in the computer. Have it scanned for free at an auto parts store and see what's wrong and repair accordingly. Google the numbers for more info. Dealers charge for this. Once the repair is done, the light can be cancelled with the scan tool. If the repair might be covered by the warranty, have the dealer do the repair free. They still may charge you a "diagnostic fee" which is BS.
