Shifter 03 Kia Rio sedan manual

Shifter is very loose won't shift needs plate to be
WELDED I think it's ROTTED where the shifter
plate  holds the shifter so it goes into gear not sure

Needs to be fixed asap have to get to WORK shifter let loose YESTERDAY won't shift in gear
