Question type: General

2018 f150 loosing oil . First got the service
done at ford dealership first oil change at
4,988. Drove 1k with it and checking the oil it
was low needed about 2qt took it to the
dealership to make sure I’m not off read the
right to check oil on the truck. Service rep
check it too. It was low he said . Brought it
back today bc Ford told him to make take off
the catch bc he wanted to make it was back
to oem . Should I be paying for the oil
consumption test ? Like the oil they buy ? Or
should it be warranty? Only has 7k on the
truck.

GuruLMD8C - My dealer is doing the oil test as warranty. Not coming out of pocket for the oil, this will be the second oil change (8500 mi). My 5.0 is the 5th one in for oil consumption test since TSB came out in March.
