does anybody know where and easiest way to replace a crank sensor on a 99 ford Taurus 3.0 single cam?

ive been having problems with my Taurus, I just replaced the coil pack today because I thought that was the problem, it still wont start, it sounds like its trying to start, just wont, I called a mechanic buddy and he said crank sensor, so does anyone know where it is at and an easy way to access and replace it?

Remove the front passenger side tire and the front inner fenderwell for access.
