Hey there So i cant tell you the exact problem cuz id have to diag the car but here is some info that may help. The safety neutral switch makes it so the car doesn't lunge forward when the car is being turned on. One way to diag it is by shifting into N and cranking and see if it works. So if that craps out it could cause issues. Did the code say "below voltage threshold" or something like that? I do know that the 3.0L tarus motors do have starters that kick the bucket from time to time. So that could be the other cause.... but.... The fact that you have to wait 10 min to start makes me wonder if it is a fuel delievery issue as in not enough fuel is getting to the engine early on. Typically you can hear the fuel sending unit sending gas to the fuel rails when you turn the key to ON. So is it possible that something could be restricting the flow? Yes. When you changed the pump the fuel filter was changed to right? Anyways hope this sheds some light on the issue.
