If your battery is 3-5 years old, I would start by replacing it. Clean cables and grounds. If you haven't done a basic tune up, I would put in new plugs, air filter, fuel filter. If husband was driving it for 1200 miles, he may have picked up some bad gas. Or if the car was just sitting in your yard for a week while he was gone, you may have moisture in the tank due to the cold. Just top it up and dump some dry gas in the tank.

Says I have a cylinder 4 miss fire.....put dry gas in and am gonna check the plugs and wires when I get home....thanks
