99 ford Taurus. Heater doesn't work but heater core is good blower motor works great. For some reason when I switch to heat the ac still runs and I've replaced the switch &actuator door. Any suggestio

The car could have an external valve to disrupt the flow of antifreeze on the outside of the vehicle. I would look for this closest to the firewall of the car. Aside from that check to make sure you have good flow to the heater core and try to run some flush thru the system to make sure there is no blockages.
