2018 GMC will not Switch into AWD mode

My 2018 Will not switch into AWD mode or any other Mode.  Does anyone
know what may cause this issue?

Transfer case shift motors are a big fail on these, they just quit working. Sometimes if you tap on them with a small hammer or rock while someone changes the mode switch they will work but not too may times.
