Toyota Camry Tank Size

I have a 2018 Camry but I am unable to fill the tank with more than 12 gallons.
I was wondering if this is just an issue with my car or if this is a common issue.
Is there any way to fix it so that I can fill up to 17 gallons?

The fuel tank in the Camry has a 16 gallon capacity. Usually when the car indicates low on fuel with a light on the instrument cluster, it comes on with about 2 to 4 gallons of fuel left in the tank. So you are fine and it's normal. You really don't want to run the fuel tank any lower, the fuel pump needs that fuel to stay cool.
