2018 Camry Blocked AC Condensor Drain line

Have been told by our dealership that the AC condenser drain line is clogged on our leased 2018 Camry and that it has caused mold, to the tune of $4K to $5K in repair estimate. Car has about 12,500 miles on it. From research, looks like this has been an ongoing issue with Toyota Camry's. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like bullocks to me , send a wire or squirt some vinegar solution up into it , the system should be run at least once over the winter , see if the condensation drips out . It's a year old how much crap do you think is going to be in there ?
Well Toyota should pay the bill, the car should be under warranty, No?
@beatupchevy - I could not even begin to tell you where the condenser drain is. Have NEVER had this issue on any other brand vehicle that we have owned. The car is an '18 model year and we're now in the last 11 months of a 3 year lease. Car has about 12,500 miles on it.
@TDolby - We have been told that Toyota is refusing to cover it under warranty as it is not a warranty item. Interesting what you find when you search Camry mold or Camry AC issues. There is a class action lawsuit against Toyota for this very same issue on their Camry model vehicles.
Total BS! 4 grand for a little rubber hose? Not sure about warranty as this may not be a defect but dirt.
@ F_O_R - The $4K to $5K estimate is for mold damage but I don't know exactly where this mold damage is, flooring, AC system?
Happened to me. 2018 xse. caused the YAW sensor to fail and Toyota refuses to pay for it.
@ grc063 - Were you able to resolve this with Toyota? I encountered the exact same issue and getting the same response from dealership.
Running into the same problem on my 2019 from a week ago, Toyota isn't helping. My car is a lease and I still have a year and 10 months left. I may try to get out of the lease and sell the car early

just had this happen on my 2019 XSE, heard a gurgling noise when my air was blowing (AC & heat) rear passenger floor was soaked through to the padding beneath carpet, dealer states its not under warranty, had mold, they replaced entire carpet and padding, $1407 labor and cost

Had a similar problem on a 2008 Avalon (14 years old) which ran perfectly and was in Vey Good condition until this problem developed, Repair estimate from Toyota was $2000 ( dry out old carpet and re-install) to $3000 ( for new carpet). Dealer offered total of $4000 to cover cost of repairs to isolate/take apart plus trade in on new car. KBB said car was worth $5000 to a dealer. Overall, I thought I came out reasonably as I couldn't expect Toyota to have a warranty on a 14 year old car, unless this was a design defect. Let me know how the Class action suit goes.

I have a 2020 Toyota Camry, mine was doing this also. Thankfully they just flushed out my lines well and we are good. But it's funny I'm seeing Toyota have a HUGE issue with this lately on all model now that's I'm re-searching
