Used 2018 Ford Escape OBD port missing

Just bought a used 2018 Ford Escape and went to get inspection sticker in
Massachusetts and mechanic said the OBD -on board diagnostic port was
missing.  Should the dealer have to replace it? Mechanic said they are required
in all cars.

I would question the dealer you bought it from why it isn't there. Maybe the mechanic couldn't find it due to be under a panel?
