automatic gear shifting feels like the car is about to stall and produces  a
jerking feeling on every stop and start (big problem city driving with lots of
lights) . literally my head and stomach feel like it would if your about to fall
and goes back and forth while trying to accelerate out of a stop position ..all
fine after it gets to Drive mode..other have driven my car and they feel the
same thing..dealer feels there is no problem?? how can this be fixed. its
changing gears to early without enough rpm creating this delay in shifting

You took it to the dealer- and they have no answer? This is a new car- under warranty- there is no excuse for not being perfect, much less for trying to kill you in traffic- GM has had enough problems with killer cars, you think they would show more concern- amazing- AMAZING- just keep taking it back, if the service department blows you outta there another time ask to get in touch with the district rep- they must be aware of this, there are no doubt other impalas doing the same

I have a 2014 and it does the same thing. I was told it had something to do with the transmission type

Was curious to know if you ever figured outwhat was that problem with your transmission. I think my car is doing the same?

pressure control solenoid is the issue. I have the same problem and the chevy service dept. is clueless or maybe not.
