Will there be a CD player option on the 2018 Toyota Yaris iA?

I'm an old goat that doesn't change with the times, and I definitely need a CD
player in any car I purchase. If the Yaris iA doesn't have a CD player option, I'll
need to figure out a way to add a CD player that hopefully will still be controlled
with the same methods that the radio or cell phones use. If not, I'll have to skip
this model and get something else.

I doubt it. Use a wifi device with a separate CD player or download your CD's onto your phone.
New car manufacturers should listen and offer an optional CD player for we old timers.
Maybe an external CD player into the USB would work.
That can work or you can use a Radio Frequency adapter or bluetooth to your smart phone.
With the capacity of USB sticks now , I would go that route. But that sucks for people that don't even use a computer which is necessary to convert.

yes must have a cd player in all cars very disappointed i was not told when looking for me car.
Nissan still has them in their 2018 models and I think the 2018 Corolla has a cd player. Not very smart of Toyota not to offer a cd player as an option on the Camry. Sedans sell to the older crowd anyway. I would have kept on buying Camry's forever, but I guess not now.
