Trunk lid and Tail lamps filling with water? Anyone experience this?

After a heavy rain the trunk lid is getting water in it.  Lift up the lid and water drips out of the lid and tail lamps into the trunk.  Water is also getting inside the tail lamps and shorting out bulbs.

check rubber seal around trunk open it check for holes,cracks,split in seal.

Not getting into trunk, getting into the tail lamp assembly which is set into the trunk lid. The lid weatherstrip is fine. Bizarre...

try tighting the tail light bolts.they 10 mm bolts,dont over tighten.
