Death Wobble
Asked by GuruSZKKN May 13, 2019 at 06:49 PM about the 2018 Ford F-350 Super Duty XL Crew Cab LB 4WD
Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Highway speed DEATH WOBBLE,
nearly killed my family. Lawyer being
consulted. This is a super dangerous
problem. FORD should be ashamed
and held responsible. 8 month old
truck, 7,000 miles. Lifetime ford
owner no more. Local ford dealer
playing dumb say they would put a
new steering stabilizer on?!

This is a known issue with Super Duty trucks. A heavy duty after market track bar may solve the issue but the warranty is not going to pay for it.
Just one of many choices. https://www.dieselpowerproducts.com/p-16480-pure- performance-pp05741k-adjustable-track-bar-with-conversion-bracket-17-18-ford- superduty.aspx? gclid=EAIaIQobChMItLXf0uaZ4gIVEavsCh2p8g_vEAQYASABEgJfMPD_BwE
I wish you luck on getting your problem solved. I do have a couple of questions as I am considering buying a F250. Is yours a diesel and did you lift the truck or install over sized tires?
I filed a complaint today with the NHTSA in hopes of getting some resolution. I suggest you try doing it also. The more complaints they get, the better chance we have of Ford being forced to issue a recall. you can do it here: https://www- odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/ I have also scheduled it to be looked at by another Ford dealer after chatting with Ford Corporate online and not getting any satisfaction. Unfortunately they can't get me in for over 2 weeks. This will be repair attempt #5 since December and my truck has 20,400 miles on it.
