Does anybody know where to find the break booster for 05 ls?

Asked by Matthew Feb 10, 2022 at 01:49 AM about the 2005 Lincoln LS V6 Appearance

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 lincoln ls v6 and am having
difficulty finding a break booster for it. I have
been driving it still and it went out almost 4
months ago....still hisses at me when I break.
When I look online the site claims to have  one
and only one in stock come to find out they no
longer have it in stock upon check out. So does
anybody know where to find a compatible
booster from another vehicle or any
otheraftermarket options I can find this
mother freaking booster at?

Did you try the dealer ? Make sure it's not a vacuum line before you replace it ( $$$ ) I see older/ classic car parts ads on velocity channel ( classic industries ) , many shows about car restoration . Do a search , phrase the search different there should be a source . ( $$$ )

If you can’t find new or rebuilt then your stuck with wrecking yards.

rock auto has them, Cardone brand, you send them your booster and they rebuild it for you. You also have to know if your vehicle has IVD or not. Interactive Vehicle Dynamics to get the correct part.

it does not have a booster per say what it has is a pump with air assist module. Most definitely a air line at the driver's side. I had to do a similar repair on ls-2005-V8 3.9
