ABS/traction controls

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
When I go to take off my traction control and ABS comes
on and it kills the power to my vehicle till I build up a little
speed. Can I disconnect my ABS sensor for now to stop it?
It has a grind on the driver side when it does it like the
brake is trying to stop me.

Is this happening during normal dry driving conditions?
First, get the trouble codes read to find out which sensor is causing the problem. Then clean the face of the sensor to see if it has accumulated metallic debris. Next, clean the rust off the notched tone ring. See this post on how ABS sensors and tone rings work: https://ricksfreeautorepairadvice.com/abs-abs-brakes/
I was having the same problem with my 04 Lincoln Navigator I unplugged fuse number 16 which disables your abs until I could buy the parts to fix it
