Do you need to reset or program anything when you replace the throttle position sensor

Not unless you have a "Check Engine" light on. Then, yes. You'll need to hook up a scan tool to clear the code.

no only thing you need to do is unhook the battery for 30 minutes. that clears the codes. wow people these days are not to bright. not talking bout you magic

That's all you need to do? Really. And that verifies that you actually repaired something? Not too bright huh? 30 years an an ASE and Ford Master Certified Technician currently working for a County Agency repairing and maintaining Police vehicles. Yeah, it takes a real idiot to do that. My interests are in PROPER repairs - not patch-jobs.
