DRIVERS DOOR AJAR LIGHT WILL NOT GO OFF ON COMPUTER SCREEN

MY SEAT BELT GOT CAUGHT IN THE DRIVERS DOOR WHEN CLOSED,
AND NOW THE COMPUTER NOTICE WILL NOT GO OFF CAUSING
NOTHING TO WORK ON ON THE COMPUTER PANEL.  SOMETIMES IT
WILL WORK, BUT RARELY!

Check the drivers door latch make sure its clear of seat belt tread you can try a spray with light oil.

This tells you the problem is the latch I suggest you inspect the latch remove the door panel check electrical connections, most likely the seat belt jammed / bent / caused play/ in the latch causing it to signal door is open at all times. Finally check and oil ALL the door latches.

If the spray oil worked try it again but saturate the latch and all in area. Do it bout 2-3 times. Mine was doing same today did this about 4 time each time closed open door a few time. What it seemed to be alot of dirt collected and the wd40 was able to get it working right afterwards. It work 2day 4 me
