2002 Lincoln Continental PATS/PCM Problem. Car won't start.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I put my key in, the car wouldn't start. I would pull the key out and put it
in again and it would start fine. Randomly my instrument panel would flicker
but then return to normal. Now the car never starts. I replaced the battery.
Checked the PCM relay which I swapped with an exact relay from the
fan/blower. Same issue. Fuel safety switch checked as OK, PATS light seems
normal, but I believe something is wrong due to key past behavior as
inconsistent. Can someone please help?

I wonder if your ignition switch is the problem.

The engine turns over but doesn't start. The ignition seems OK.
