Asked by Biff Aug 30, 2020 at 04:25 PM about the 2001 Lincoln Navigator 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my 2001 navigator was driving down the road a while back and my friend who was driving said that as she was driving she noticed that traffic was starting to pass her by so she strepped on the gas  to speed up and it would not speed up so she ended up pulling over and had it towed home

my Lincoln never to Gator did the same thing and when you push on the gas you would actually slow down turned out to be the mass flow air sensor and clogged fuel injectors I just got Lucas to put in the fuel tank fuel injector cleaner and I got mass flow air sensor cleaner which cost $8 and cleaned the air filter and that actually totally helped it until it patched it up until I had $80 to buy the new Maxwell air filter and completely fixed it it wasn't the transmission they thought it was but it wasn't
