Car will not start after sitting for almost 3 years

Acts like it wants to crank but moves very slowly
If it's been sitting for three years, I would do this for starters. Replace battery, plugs, wires, cap and rotor if it has one, fuel filter, air filter. Then crank it over. If it still won't fire, check for spark and fuel. The fuel pump may have rotted out. Coil or coil paks could be bad. Have someone turn the key just far enough so you can hear the fuel pump hum in the tank. If no noise, the fuel pump is most likely shot. If fuel injected, I would clean the Idle air control valve and throttle body. You can go to Youtube and type in Idle Air Control Valve cleaning, for a short "how to" video.
