Disengage back up camera

Asked by Kathy Sep 12, 2018 at 05:28 PM about the 2018 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited AWD

Question type: General

How do you temporarily disengage the camera on the trunk of the 2018
Subaru Legacy.  Depending on where my bike rack is on the trunk and where
the bike tires are at times, the car will not go in reverse.  Its like trying to back
up with the emergency brake on.  All it takes is ½ to 1 inch difference in the
mounting of the bike.

This is a good question for your dealer. It may not be the camera but the back up sensors (if you have them).
