Why not put a plastic bag over the fuse box

Who or what said you couldn't? I've see things wrapped in a Walmart bag and Duct tape.

The problem is the front windshield. I too have a Eddie Bauer - 1997 - all kinds of electrical problems - took to Speedy Auto Glass - they removed the windshield and re-sealed it - and cleaned up fuse box - problem fixed! Leak in windshield goes right into the fuse box - when ever it rains, snow melts, ect
