Any with issues on 2018clubman

Asked by GuruCYC2H Feb 07, 2019 at 10:45 PM about the 2018 MINI Countryman Cooper ALL4 AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Engine light comes on. Dealer fix is oil and filter change. Has happened twice
in  last 3 weeks.
Manufacturer says it is due to variable winter temp changes in NS and to
drive  “vigoursly  ” more than 5O Kat least once a month.
Not impressed so far with my first mini.
Extremely disappointed.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I've had this happen 6 times in the last 6 months. They've told me the same thing and now refuse to see me for the same issue until the weather warms up and I try a higher grade of gasoline. Plus there's been a recall on my 2017 countryman as well. Never buying another Mini again!!
