Are 2018 Elantra Headlights safe enough for night driving at highway speeds?

A recent IIHS review of the 2018 Elantra gave it great reviews except in the
area of headlight illumination (all but high-end packages).  Before buying one of
these cars, I'm looking for real-world feedback from Elantra drivers to see if
anyone feels unsafe when driving on dark highways at night.  Thanks in
advance!

I've got a 2018 Elantra GT. Yea, I don't like the headlights either. There is this 'shadow' at the upper area of the driving light area. Spooky at first. Also, it showed only from the knees down of a group of people walking on the sidewalk. Much too low. There are complaints filed with NIHTA about the headlights. Otherwise, great car, fun to drive.
