buying 2005 Mazda 3 SP 23

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hi, I'm thinking about buying a 2005 Mazda 3 SP23 hatchback. It's got about 45,500 miles on it, fully loaded. Do you think $15,000 is a fair price to buy it from a dealer?  Thanks!

That sounds a bit expensive for a 2005 model with this kind of mileage. I'd say more towards a $10000 price tag is a fair price. :)

Well in Canada they sell for just under 30,000 stock and average 20,000 kilometres a year so like just over 10,000 miles avg. so your looking at average wear for above average pricing for a 2005

I know you probably already made your decision but I bought mine (4door sedan) for about 14,000 and it only had 40,000 miles on it. I personally think it was well worth the investment, I love the car. It has given me no problems at all.

Check the Kelley Blue Book (kbb.com) for retail dealer price. Bill
