Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just changed the thermostat and flushed it. Took it
to a mechanic had them did the SAME EXACT
THING and the heater will blow hot air for like 2
mins and then it turns cold until I shut off the

My 97 expedition was doing a similar situation, does it "thump" around the passenger floorboard? I was suspicious of the actuator that controls the flap to decide if heat or cool air comes out of the vents
