Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm looking at a 1998 Ford Expedition 4x4 to
purchase it was a police vehicle bought at
police auctions it has the average mileage of
hooking up the KBB value but because it
was at least was wondering if the possibility
that it would have an Interceptor
transmission and if so how can I tell? Also
how would that effect the value of the
cehicle?

I doubt the transmission is any different that other Expeditions. Keep in mind that police cars idle for hours every single day, probably with the AC on as well.
