Coolant leak?

Asked by Lisa Mar 17, 2017 at 03:04 PM about the 2005 Mazda MPV ES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2005 Mazda MPV (130K miles) is leaking coolant somewhere but I
have no idea where!  Went throught an entire reservoir in 2 weeks time
with minimal driving.  Weird thing is there is absolutely nothing on my
driveway to indicate a leak!  Oil looks perfectly fine, so no problems there.
Repair place tried to tell me it was water pump, but thinking there would be
an external leak on my driveway if that were the problem.  Any ideas?

My 2006 Mazda mpv was loosing coolant and after exhaustive checking, it was the radiator cap , although it looked perfect I finally realized that each time I checked it the reservoir didn't have the pressure that you would expect while taking it off. Hope this helps someone. Frank
